We began regular Family Bible Study meetings in February 7, 2018 and changed our format to provide an opportunity for all who come to truly be involved in the study of God's Word together. We start off with a couple of questions from the previous Sunday's sermon, which is currently on The Gospel of Luke, and then we search the Scriptures together to answers questions that the study raises as well as other topics of discussion.

There is so much great information found in The Bible and so many questions that people have about it that we wanted to open up an opportunity to explore it together.

Come to The Church Family Fellowship Bible Study on Tuesday nights, and find out the answers to these

and many more important questions that have a direct impact upon you and The Church for today!

About Us

Praying for God's Leading

image270

Will you join with us?

We are asking you to pray for a new movement of the Spirit of God within His Church, and within our world,

as we follow His leading to plant a new church in the Inland Empire.

This church will be unlike any other church you have seen before,

though you will be able to recognize it as a Church in:

Purpose - to know God, to make Him known, and to worship Him alone (Psalm 25:14, Isaiah 19:21 & Ephesians 4:1-16)

Focus - to fulfill the Great Commission by living out the Great Commandment (Matthew 28:18-20 & 22:36-40)

Name - we will be called "The Church", though our formal name is "The Church Family Fellowship"

(Matthew 16:18, 18:17, Acts and throughout the New Testament)

As We Take Something Old

image271

Many church traditions, though powerful and precious, become objects of worship, especially when the tradition becomes the object of our worship more than the purpose of our worship, which is to direct our attention to the only One worthy of worship

- Jesus Christ, the Son of God!

In fact, Mark chapter 2 offers us several examples of Jesus responding to the pharisees, who often placed a higher value on their traditions in worship instead of helping people focus their attention on the worship of God.

At the conclusion of this passage we come across these final Q&A verses, in which Jesus explains the purpose of setting a day aside for worship and the overriding legal requirement within it...

"The Pharisees said to him, 'Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?'

Then he said to them, 'The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.'”

Mark 2:24, 27-28

And Breathe New Life Into It!

image272

Our focus, from the start, will be to bring new life into The Church by following the call of Jesus Christ, living for the glory of God the Father, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit, and serving together as one through His Body - The Church!

We will accomplish this in many new and unique ways, with respect for the old, we will press on towards the upward call of Christ Jesus. For it was Jesus who, when speaking to the religious people of the day regarding their traditions, said the following...

“No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old. And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins. And no one after drinking old wine wants the new, for they say, ‘The old is better.’”

Luke 5:36-39

So Church, get ready for SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!!

Two Great Books To Help Understand our Vision of Ministry

image273

"Sustainable Church" by Walt Russell

This is a great book to read if you want to understand more about the principles found in the scripture that have shaped the formation of The Church. It is an excellent Biblically based explanation for why we are using a Team Pastoring/Shepherding approach to church leadership but even more than that it explains the importance of every member's role in the building up of the Body of Christ.
